Students will need to turn in a parent note or have a parent here in person to sign them out to check after the bell rings to end the period after they finish the review or a test. Students cannot leave and then come back the same day. No calls will be accepted for check out on these days.

The Mountain View School District Board of Education, at its regular meeting tonight, voted to make the wearing of masks optional in school buildings and at events on every campus. This will begin immediately. However, Masks will continue to be mandatory on all school buses in the district. Thank you.

Mountain View Basketball The Home games on Tuesday November 30th vs Harding Academy have been postponed due to football playoffs. The new date will be posted ASAP.

Due to the Arkansas Department of Health and achi.net not updating Covid 19 data due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, the Mountain View School District will remain mask optional in all buildings across the district for the week of November 29 through December 3. Masks will continue to be mandatory on all school buses, however.

The Mountain View School District will not be in session next week in observation of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Classes will resume on Monday, November 29 at 8 A.M.

Parents and family, BETA induction is scheduled for 11:30 on Tuesday, November 30. If you choose to come observe, please be awre of the current mask mandate. We hope to see you there.

Mtn. View Basketball No Games Tonight Friday November 19th Have been Canceled

We are still having some traffic in the mornings in what should be no traffic areas. Please make sure that you are dropping off students either at the teardrop behind school or in the big parking lot by the agri building and the bus garage. Please make sure to enter and exit the ag parking lot by the entrances there. DO NOT Drive up behind the new gym and between busses and bus garage. No traffic should be going up to the high school or middle school offices to drop students.

The Mountain View School District will remain mask optional in buildings across the district for the week of November 15th through the 19th. Mask will continue to be mandatory on all buses, however. Thank You.

Please remember that no students should be dropped off in front of the high school in the morning. Student drop off for 9-12 grade students is the parking lot that is close to the Agri building. It has a drive through in that parking lot. No one should pull up the hill by the bus garage, please stay in the parking lot by the agri building and enter and exit from it.
